It doesn’t have any entry fee. It has three parts in three different floors. Very good way to know about the Chinese history in Indonesia.

Like the main concept as its shows many indonesian culture. Price are worth even its cheap but after you will feel its an olc museum with low maintenance and care. Should they concern more on that maybe a bit expensive price still worth to visit there

Nice museum with information about history of Chinese people came, lived and grew in Indonesia, with exhibition of some artifacs from old Chinese culture.

For some reason we finally ended up at TMII despite EVERYONE telling us not to go there.
The third place we visited was the Hakka Museum. There was a dangdut stage right by the courtyard. There was a singing event going on(nothing to do with Hakka) and trash and food boxes ALL OVER.
There was a small area at the back with statues of the 12 shios but we couldn't get any decent pictures because somehow cars and motorbikes were allowed to park inside. There was a motorbike parked right next to a statue. An elderly man was touring with his grandson around the shios on a motor bike. The exhaust blasting in our toddler's face.
We walked to the chinese building but guess what, it was locked!
The little shop at front sold the usual cheap and nasty tourist stuff with a pair of chinese style pajamas upfront to relate.
Not worth your time!

The museum occupies a big circular building in the styles of the traditional Hakka housing style. As a Hakka myself, I was expecting to see a lot about the history of Hakka Chinese people in Indonesia. But I was very disappointed when realizing that the big museum really has nothing to display. It was full of tributes to donators and it occupies several floors just to show who has donated to the building of the museum.
The Benteng Heritage Museum (which is about the history of Benteng Chinese people in Indonesia) in Tanggerang is much much better than this.
