Just a regular brand new monument, any history behind it. However it has the mosque beside (which is a must-see) and you will eventually walk by and see it. Just go for a walk-and that's it!

Like many cities in the world, Jakarta has its icon. This tower was build by command of President Sukarno. Visitors must pay attention for the fire gold plated form at the top of the tower. In the old days, visitors may go to its highest...More

Nice park in the city centre which is quiet to walk around. There seems to be only one entrance but once you're in there i's lovely, well maintained and fairly quiet. Not many tourists around at all!

A giant square with a fountain, mini train and of course giant monument. A very good place for family. Now it's even more comfortable because no street seller inside this area. Every food and beverage seller stand in one comfortable area.

If you wait for the little transportation bus they have when you enter; it will take you directly to where you have to enter. Great place to go to see and read about Indonesian history and it's struggle for independence.
