This place is a really nice attraction in Jakarta, it's a peaceful area with alot to experience and see. The entrance fee and fees within the attraction itself are really good. It would be great for a family day out, or simply wanting to explore more about the Indonesian history and culture. Good cable car ride available here offering views of the full park itself. Food and Beverages available inside the attraction too. Easy enough for tourists to navigate around. I really recommend coming to see this place for a day out.

After many months staying at home we started going outdoors. We found TMII as the appropriate place, it was not too crowded, affordable and also a place that offered many educative experiences for children. We went to Taman Burung (bird park) and Museum ikan air tawar dan serangga (fresh water fish dan bug museum). All gave beautiful moments for us and there are so many other places inside TMII that we plan to go to later

The Indonesia miniature park is a great experience that even our teenage children enjoyed. The park is built to represent each different part of Indonesia and share its history. There were very unique and educational offerings surrounding each area. Many photo opportunities!

Indonesia is a big country, consist lots of islands, divided by oceans. Each island has their own culture, habits, unique houses, dresses, food, etc. So if you want to know more about Indonesia in a glimpse, you could come to TMII (Taman Mini Indonesia Indah) or Beatiful Indonesia in Miniature Park. In here, there's a lot of houses from every province in Indonesia. You can enter in each houses, and there you can find each tradition. Don't worry about the food, inside the park, there's a lot of restaurant, and museums.

As the name implied this park created all the famous tourist architectures around Indonesia. Of course you won't be able to visit all of them in a day so we just choose some of them. Each miniature is really identical to the actual except the size. The park itself is rather big to cater all the 30 + over miniatures. Instead of taking car, we also took the cable car and it was a great experience to see those famous buildings from top. Highly recommended.

There was probably a time in the 1960s or 1970s of countless worldwide imitations of the Disneyland recreative model. It is precisely the case of this Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, built up during the Suharto "New Order" dictatorship to display the "harmony" of the 26 provinces (now more than 30) of the country. The park is a little bit far away, takes some time to arrive on it, and one needs several hours to go through the different buildings, showcases, and examples of the Indonesian mosaic of architecture and cultures. Despite interesting, the park seems to have stagnated around the Suharto nationalist propaganda era and lacks urgent modernization. Moreover, it doesn't have primary amenities and modern communication instruments. It could be much useful to listen in an iPhone informative explanation on the vast cultural diversity of Indonesia exemplified in the park. One sees mosques, churches, palaces, traditional ethnic houses, lakes, waterfalls, birds, even a Komodo museum, and in the end, it is challenging to organize a sound memory of the place. I have asked for virtual guides or booklets in English but found nothing proper. In conclusion, without modernization and updating the experience risks to be tiring, what is the worst in tourist memory.

The concept of mini Indonesia to showcase the rich culture of Indonesia in a park is excellent. But needs upliftment and upgradation and more enthusiasm in showcasing the Indonesian culture. English translation is a must and woefully lacking. The local guides are also useless and not helpful. Better wear walking shoes and come prepared to spend atleast 4 hours here if you want to explore to your hearts content. It's a beautiful park especially after a light rain. No good drinking water or restrooms. Better read some history and geography if you want to absorb what this park has to offer.

Although this place is quite far from the city centre, it is a must visit attraction. You can see the country’s history and culture through the different villages all sorted out . Nice for photo ops , you need to bring transport since it’s quite tedious walking to the different places of interest . It’s nice to see and explore but I am quite disappointed with the Borobudur temples in literally miniature format. Moving around you can see food stalls and souvenir shops as well .
