Entrance fee is IDR10,000 One building was under renovation but there was no announcement outside. The museum is spacious. The displays are not organized.

I heard the name of national museum from my friend and i feel curious, i decided goes to that place, when i've been there to many art from indonesian people, the art very absurd and random but nice maybe it has meaning which is good.

Its huge, just visited it once and it took me a day to see it. The history go 1000 years back in time.

This place has a lot of ancient hindu artefacts all around the museum grounds. It is amazing that they are able to keep these and maintain well. Entrance fee is around US$1.00 for tourist.

From the Airport you can go directly to the the museum and the you can put your bag in the locker of the museum, there is a man in the next step of the ticket counter to put your bag. Must be count the time from the airport... More

Yes the museum is kids friendly in terms of free spaces but if you mean "kids friendly" in terms of activity I think not. But the museum is really big and you can enjoy it.
