Lits of islands to choose, the rule of thumb is the farther, the better. Harapan island is one of the better choice. Pramuka, tidung are dirtier.

We visited this thousand Islands on Mothers' Day. I was admitted free while other in my group bought tickets. HATS OFF TO THE ORGANISERS FOR RECOGNISING mothers. Fwlt really good and thanks again. I can say thousand island is one of potential destination in Indonesia, near by the city of Jakarta a lot of virgin island with beautiful beach, I just explored 3 Island Bidadari, Tidung and Pari and will definitely explore more

3 islands in one day is enough for me. Those islands are not really big but all of them have memoriable and history behind. On the past time the islands was ocupied by voc and netherlands goverment, they used to be a shelter for people who will go to mecca for spiritual trip. On the islands we can see just... More

The 1000 islands area is a chain of islands just off the coast of Jakarta. Because of the pollution run off and dynamite fishing most of the reefs are destroyed and fish life is poor. Only went to Sepa Island and for some reason it's not on here but went past most as it's at the end, it's a little resort with white sandy beaches beach hit accommodations clear and turquoise seas and a Cassowary So well worth a visit

There are several island in Pulau Seribu, famous among tourist are Pramuka Island, Tidung Island, Untung Jawa Island, Semak Daun Island, Bira Island, Putri Island, Bidadari island, Perak Island and Bulat Island. You can reach it by wooden boat at Muara Angke harbour, about 3 hours ride in good weather.
