    Worth the visit
    Definitely worth the visit and cheaper than the adjoining hot springs. Towels and lockers were provided. The pools were all clean and the water nice and warm! Beautiful view. The welcome drink was a little lame though - half a glass of cocktail juice.

    Lovely location and experience. Be careful where you book if using on line. Read my post
    Firstly. Booked vouchers with Agoda. Beware, the management at the Batur Hotsprings will not honor the Agoda voucher but rebooked at the entrance gate with get your guide and had no problems gaining entrance. Now in dispute with Agoda for a refund. Anyway. Loved the experience at the Hot springs. Location was fantastic and the water is clean and beautiful. If you go at 9-10am and feel overwhelmed by the amount of people just wait it out. It empties out by 11am and you have the place to yourself. The food was great and cheap. The welcome drink was a nice touch. Bathrooms basic but clean and soap and lockers provided. Overall glad we took the time to rebook and go in otherwise we would have left upset after Agoda vouchers declined.

    Great experience
    We couldn't fit in Mount Batur Trek or a stay in the Kintamani area but did manage to squeeze this in. The entire area of Kintamani is at a different level (quite literally) to whatever we had experienced in Bali till that point of time. It was much cooler (it was noon when we got there!) and the water was at just the right temperature. My son really enjoyed his time here as we wasn't well and barely made it out of the room. In that sense it could be said of as being therapeutic! Toya Devasya is right next door and gets even better views but does cost more too. Would definitely recommend this place.

    When you first arrive, there is a parking lot where there are local food spots and vendors. Upon entering, there were cute signs and beautiful flowers along the way. They have a towel service, lockers, shower areas, bathrooms, lounge areas, and a food area. They even offer free Wi-Fi ! There are 3 pool areas, and the water is hot, but relaxing and fresh. I enjoyed my time while here. I would definitely recommend coming to experience it. I didn't go on it, but when I was leaving I did see 3 water slides which was pretty cool.

    Probably not the real deal
    Kind of a weird scene. Not fun. Maybe the water is healthy, but it all felt kind of weird. No engagement except one person soliciting massages ( no thank you, ever) 2 buildings with junk in them Visible to the naked eye eye. In Bali, cluttered stagnant spaces are said to house bad spirits, that’s believable here.

Extremely disappointed with the way the place has been maintained. The toilets were filthy. The place was chaotic.

**Batur Natural Hot Spring**

**Overall Rating:** 3/5

**Pros:**

* Beautiful location overlooking Lake Batur
* Variety of pools to choose from, with different temperatures
* Great way to relax after a hike or other activity
* Friendly staff

**Cons:**

* Pricey
* Changing and shower facilities are poor
* Flies everwhere

**Review:**

I visited Batur Natural Hot Spring after hiking up Mount Batur. It was a great way to relax my muscles and soak in the beautiful views. The pools are a variety of temperatures, so you can find one that is just right for you. The staff was friendly and helpful.

However, I did find the price to be a bit high. The entrance fee is 195,000 IDR ($13 USD) which includes towel and drink. The changing and shower facilities are also quite poor. The changing rooms, and the showers are based in wjat looks like a old warehouse with battered lockers.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Batur Natural Hot Spring. However, I think the price is a bit high, and the changing and shower facilities need to be improved.

**Tips:**

* Bring sunglasses and sun scream
* Go early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds, seems to mirror the crowds from mountain batur.

**Overall, I would recommend Batur Natural Hot Spring to people who are looking for a relaxing place to soak in the natural hot springs. However, be prepared to pay a bit of a premium for the experience.**

Wonderful idea, fantastic location but slobby execution, infriendly staff, not clean, all pools the same temperature you'd have at home in a bathtup and way too expensive for what you get. Arrived hungry after a sunrise trek only to find that the restaurant chose to serve a party and wouldn't serve us anything for 4 hours - not even a slice of bread. So, don't count on being able to buy food there.
Recomend that you spend half the money enjoying a nice lunch/dinner in Kintamani with a great view of the lake and volcanos instead.

ok but you have to pay to go up to Mtr Batur....a bit of a hassle as you already are paying for the car then the hot springs.
