It is a stunning location. I see it as a gathering place for artists to collaborate and produce entertaining stuff for you. You will undoubtedly be in awe of the artwork and gradually be able to connect with the masterworks that transport you to an entirely other realm.

We didn’t know about this place. Our 8 and 12 year old had a great time which was fantastic as it was a rainy day and kept them busy. Most of the photo opportunities were free with a couple you had to pay the professional photographer as you couldn’t take a picture yourself. The professional shots were expensive but well done.

We didn't even know about existence of this museum. While we were wondering around we came at the entrance and forgetting our age (well over 50!) joined hordes of small and not so small kids. We had to stand in a queue to take some photos and decided to skip many of them for a simple reason that queues were too long.
Very diverting and entertaining way to pass an hour or two. And during these hours forget about your age - becoming a child like all the other visitors of this charming museum.

Why would a a company take bookings for a site that had been closed for remodeling for over 6 months? If that wasn't bad enough, it took 3 emails and copies for the information from Trick Eye's website to get a refund. Let's talk about salt in the wound. How pitiful. One would think they would need to have some kind of contact with their merchants when they are going to be closed for any length of time, but I guess not. Do your own research about if facilities are open.

What is it about? You pay HKD150 to take photos and videos in front of wall papers and objects that "appear" to be 3D, just like those paintings on pavements that look like there's a big sinkhole.
If you are using iPhone, you're in luck; otherwise expect paying full price for only half of the experience. It's because you'd need to download their photo app to fully experience it, but they won't tell you until you have paid the entrance fee that the app's video taking feature doesn't work on Andriod phones and there's nothing they can do about it:"Oh yeah, the management already knows the app may not work on Adriod phones, you can use an iPhone though?" Great, now they tell me!
In fact, it's not worth the HKD150 at all even if you're using an iPhone. Save that money and spend it on going up to the Sky100 in Kowloon. You won't regret that...and I'm a local!

It was the first time for us to go the Trick Eye Museum.. It is fantastic! The 3D pics are amazing and creative! The staff there is very nice and help us to take photos. I like the shark pic the most. With our great pose, it seems that the shark is really chasing and trying to bite us! The elephant one is great too! Remember to wear trousers as you have to climb up and down and have different pose for photo taking. We spent around 2 hours there and it was a great experience for us. Wish I can go to other Trick Eye Museum in the near future.

Two teenage “photographer” telling people to pose.
These kids have no respect and have condescending tone to people who walk past. I don’t want to say more cause their attitude was disgusting at best. I don’t know how you guys can employ such childish kids to joke with tourists and visitors. They ****ed up my mood. Good luck getting ur photo sales up with them. Ur service was a JOKE.

Worth the visit if you're heading to Victoria Peak. Entry is free but they do get you as some of the scenes are where the 'professionals' take photos - so with the kids you may feel obliged to purchase a photo or two!
For us it was a good way to break up the visit and have a laugh.

Is trick eye open tomorrow?how much is the entrance fee?
Written 23 June 2018
The museum is free to enter, there are 3 areas where the staff take pictures of you, if you want these photos you have to pay at the end. You are free to take your own photos at all the other exhibits though. Not sure on opening days

Planning to go end of March 2018 with my 5 year old. Would the museum be open as i see on their website that it is closed for renovation but does not mention when it will reopen. I hope it will be open then as only have 1 week in HK

Hi I can’t answer your question as to whether it will be open or not. But if it’s not I wouldn’t worry to much. It was a nice surprise when we got up to the top of Victoria Peak but I wouldn’t make a special trip for it.

My family, 4 adults & 1 child is scheduled to be at Trick Eye Museum on Aug 29. How much is the entrance ticket? How many hours do we need at the maximum? Are there rest os where we can eat?
Written 16 August 2017
Yes several restaurants at The Peak with variety of cuisine to choose from. You should spare about an hour or 75 minutes for the tour overall (recommend to avoid peak hours). $150 adult $100 kid

Dear lisihuang,
Thanks for your interest in coming to Trick Eye! As 20th is a weekday, we expect there will not be a big crowd. We would suggest you to come in the morning or afternoon time when we are less busy. But since we have total 5 zones, please go to other zones first if you find the waiting time for your turn is too long, as there is no time limit once you enter! Enjoy taking unlimited photos in Trick Eye ;)
