The park was brought into being in 1990 after the old city was demolished. The old city, a military stronghold had become an area of uncontrollable crime. Now it is a pleasant walk through eight themed areas and is certainly worth spending a couple of...More

We where lucky when we arrived at the park a very nice lady invited us to join her tour party, so interesting the history of the walled city is fascinating. Going to find some books and do a bit of reading.

This was a nice, peaceful way to spend a few hours in Hong Kong. There are a few different sections to wander around and look at. Different plaques provide some historical information on the park, but it's a nice place if you just want to...More

The Kowloon Walled City was once a home for some criminals for over a decade before it was demolished in the early 90s. I took my children here and tell them about its story. This place is a place of history and it is about...More

If you've read anything about the Kowloon Walled City (demolished in the early 90s), then this is a must: there are a few ruins, some models and even one or two exhibits, about that most notorious of slums. Otherwise, it's a quiet, pretty park area...More

Some parts are pretty, some aren't really. Overall I just had an ok-feeling about this park. Not a must visit, but nice enough

A little next to the big street at the edge of where the commercial shopping quarters expire and the residential areas cover, this peaceful park is filled with varied historical buildings, planted plants and (above all) a peaceful calm in bright contrast to the noise...More

This large park is very interesting place to enjoy a quiet walk away for the hectic streets that are an interesting part of Hong Kong

There are two sections there - the Walled City section and a small park. I don't recall seeing anyone riding bicycles there. Perhaps for the small park, children can ride their bicycles.
