Visiting the Mongkok markets is a bit like being hypnotised - you live and trust unlikely situations. It is great fun bargaining for a knock off polo shirt, but you know it'll shrink at the first wash, or is a size lower than it says. And then the Bose knock off's, my guess is that the vendor is demonstrating with... More

Mongkok is like the quintessential Hong Kong city vibe. So much going on in such a small compact area! It's as bright as times square, lots of people, and plenty to see and explore. You can by anything you want in this area, sneaker shops, electronics, and everything else you can imagine. It was fun!

Strolling down the street with local ambience is a must when visiting hong kong. This place is busy, crowded but very interesting. Even if you are not into shopping, Mong Kok is just great for sightseeing and watch the world goes by all around you.

Find all your Hong Kong bargains in Mongkok market , for all your gifts or souveniers then this is the place and well worth trying to haggle a bit with the street vendors...

Lots of shopping, alleys, food and things to see. The area a hub of activity in HK and famous for Sneaker Street, shopping on and off Nathan St and also home of a few big Computer Malls. If you're adventurous, walk through the alleys and find unique foods. Other than shopping, try the street food and just soak up a... More

Mong Kok can be summed up in one word - crowded! However, don't let the crowds deter you from exploring one of the most unique and interesting neighbourhoods in Hong Kong. In particular, the Ladies' Market and the streets that specialise in one particular product e.g. sneakers, flowers etc. There is also plenty of food to be sampled - ranging... More

Nice neighbourhood, it has character and a real local feel. It has some great shops and restaurants including an amazing electrical shopping center! However it's extremely crowded, and not great for those claustrophobes!!!

This is one of the most congested places to visit. Full of little shops and restaurants. Ladies Market and temple St night market are here. As are many hotels. Quite safe to walk around too

First of all it is very unique and colorful place. There are many different stores with almost everything you are looking for. There are plenty of places to eat and great stores. The main issue is that prices are not as low as you expect, but the atmosphere is very compelling. I recommend arriving around 15 in the afternoon and... More
