Mongkok is packed with shops, food, people and excitement. My favourite place to shop/window browse in Hong Kong due to the concentration and variety of stuff that is on sale in the area. There are a lot of electronic stores with a focus on phones,...More

Mongkok is an assault on your senses. It's loud, crowded, smells and has plenty to look at. It gets really busy at night with tourists and locals. The side streets are an interesting mix of luxury sports cars and shirtless, smoking street food vendors. The...More

Took a long stroll one Sunday morning from TST Promenade right up to Sam Shui Poh. Spent a fair bit of time exploring two markets in Mongkok. While the Ladies Market was a bit of a let down, I found the Mongkok Market intriguing with...More

Mongkok is busy, bright, exciting, and cheap. You can go into any of the many electric shops, take a walk down Lady's Market, or find some local eats all in a relatively small area

The night market here does not feel very local. Some vendors are not even locals. Prices are ridiculously high and you need to bargain. Just visit for a feel of the area is enough. For a more local setup, go to Sham Shui Po market....More

I came to Ladies Market in Mongkok at Saturday night and it is a fun way to see this place as there are performers on the street. Some groups are singing, some to ballroom dancing, and people gather around to watch. I first enjoy this...More

The weather may not be so cold anymore but it might rain and that brings a lot of wind chill. I think it depends on the brand of chocolates you are looking for, but check out their supermarkets (Wellcome, Carrefour). They... More

Ladies Market is on Tung Choi Street & Argyle Street dissects. There is a lot of fake/copy things. Great experience but be careful when purchasing things, barter!

The Ladies Market is on Tung Choi Street between Argyle and Dundas Streets . It is Chinese New Year and arguably should be open to the public. Enjoy!
