Good venue for sports and gatherings

A small venue for sports and gatherings. Intimate atmosphere because of the size. Mind the traffic when dispersing. Narrow streets leading to more narrow streets.

Olympics superstars visited the stadium today, besides their strength it is their mindsets that matter. This time, it is indeed their olympics sportsmanship that won the medals.

We normally stay in Cosmo hotel wanchai at Hongkong. The stadium is just in front of hotel. It is good for indoor games and world class facilites are available here. It is clean and quite big to handle the things.

It is a small stadium built for sporting events but has been used for many small concerts.. I went to this stadium for a Cantonese songs concert last year 2013. My wife and I walked from Wan Chai MTR station using a tourist map. It could be quite challenging if you do not speak Cantonese because you have to ask... More

The station is brilliant. Close to The Charterhouse Hotel by taxi, could walk if you knew where to go, but very cheap by taxi. Going back to airport youi check luggage at train station. Brilliant!

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
