Fruits were sold slightly cheaper in the fruit wholesale than other places in Hong Kong. It was a busy district in Yaumatei.

You can find a lot of options in this area for shopping and eat local/traditional food. In addition there is a wholesale fruit market. You can arrive easy with mtr.

This area is very similar to the other areas around Hong Kong. Same sort of shops and the same hustle and bustle.

My family and I stayed 2 nights at the Nathan Hotel located in this area. Many shops along the street, mostly Chinese Medical Halls and restaurants. Good spot to experience the local cultures and lifestyles.

Area steeped in history with many spaces and buildings to absorb the atmosphere. An area to explore for those tired of glitzy TST and brash Mong Kok.
