The Hong Kong skyline is so breathtaking, especially when you see it from the middle of everything. 46th floor in Central Plaza is little over halfway up the skyscraper, its the sky lobby where people change lifts to go up, you can enjoy both the views over the harbour and the green views of the peak. Take MTR to Wanchai... More

It's one of the City's famous buildings in Hong Kong located in Wan Chai Commercial Area in the heart of Hong Kong central business district and it's having a covered pedestrian walkway that links the building to nearby Bus, Rail and Ferry Terminals one must visit this place during their stay in Hong Kong.

On the second floor, you’ll find an elevator bank going straight to the 46th floor (where elevators to the higher floors are located). This 46th floor is an open gallery allowing 360 degree views over the city and its harbor, Kowloon, Happy Valley and Central. However, this is not meant as a tourist attraction and this is clearly an office... More

Felt like an urban relaxing area. Maybe not worth to come here for this reason only, but while close by one should take a stroll here.

This is a decent plaza in the center of town. Nothing too spectacular, but certainly functional and a an historic landmark as it used to be the tallest building in Hong Kong.

This 70+ storey building was once the tallest in Hong Kong. It's mainly offices, but you have to traverse the marble foyer if you are walking from Wanchai to the Exhibition Centre, the Typhoon Shelter or the Australian Embassy. It has all the charm of one of Mussolini's grandiose Fascist marble-clad monstrosities. There's nothing to do here — keep walking.

Nice open plaza with beautiful fountain and groups doing tai chi but not much else. Good spot to pass through on way to something more interesting.

Central plaza is a place which consider a landmark of hongkong. Has a train station and a walking distance to the ferry terminal going to different islands in hongkong. If your filipino wants philippine product you can found a store there and also a filipino carenderia.

Amazing array of various shops, some you wold expect nearby, others out of the ordinary (lights, flooring), plus numerous small restaurants even I could afford, and the opportunity to eat locally (not in the hotels).

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
