Easy to go by light railway, there is a small cinema keeps playing BBC wildlife movies. Some places for visitors to see or to take photos for wild birds. Entry fee is reasonable, a good place for kids education and for leisure. But I strongly...More

I knew Hong Kong Wetland Park was far but expected it to be this vast nature reserve where I could relax away from more urban parts of Hong Kong. Instead, the parts where you can actually walk around were underwhelmingly small, seemingly no larger than...More

You can get to this park by light rail (West Rail) Tung chung line, from central. Surprisingly not a lot of people. you can walk for an entire afternoon in there. Bunch of birds depending the seasons.

Enjoyed our day here although bird life not massive in amount or range. Very clean and tidy and well laid out. Lovely surroundings. Good pathways suitable for less mobile or wheelchair users. Great to be in gardens in this busy city. Surrounded by greenery and...More

We wanted to get away from the rush of the city. A MTR ride on the West line, then the 705 or 706 to Wetland stop. About an hour in all from Tsi Sha Tsui, and about $18. The wetland park felt fairly recent and...More

The wetland is a place not to be missed! Away from the hustle of the city, its the perfect place for families with young children. Since it’s winter, we saw migratory birds! The air there is also much fresher. There is an eco maze just...More

The only wetland park in hong kong. You can either bring your own binocular or use the ones in the park for birs watching. Chance of seeing migrant birds is high. Just bring a long zoom camera if you want take some nice close-up photos!

No doubt Hong Kong is a wonderful place for tourists, with so much to do, However, after a week of that frenetic pace, our trip to the Wetlands Park was a welcome change of pace. The trip to the wetlands park is relatively straight forward,...More

The best park our family has visited in HK! So much more than a leisure park. Our 6-year old son was told of the park at school. If it weren't for all his fantasized talking-up and anticipation, we probably wouldn't have made the trip. But...More

The interesting part about Hong Kong Wetland Park is that it is situated within the city. You are within the quiet nature, and at the same time see the skyscrapers in the far skyline. The park was in a moderate size. I spent an afternoon...More
