Hong Kong Wetland Park is located at Tin Shui Wai, which is located at the very west of Hong Kong. If you are from the Hong Kong Island or Kowloon, it may take you for more than an hour to reach there but it really worth visiting there. With the natural environment here, you are able to join the nature... More

I visited this place because it is very close to where my parents live. Is very comfortable here. Fitting for this one and take the time to relax, relieve stress, and others. If you're around Yeun Long, don't forget to take time to come here and enjoy its beauty.

The Hong Kong Wetland Park comprises a 10,000m2 visitor centre and a 60-hectare Wetland Reserve. The Visitor Centre has themed exhibition galleries, theatre, souvenir shop and indoor play area. The themed exhibition galleries showcase the importance of wetland on biodiversity, civilisation and conservation.

This wetlands park is fairly difficult to get to by public transport, but well worth the effort of navigating the MTR and Light Railway systems. Make sure you get a map of the LR, it's complicated. You can use Octopus but you have to scan in before you get on a train and again when you get off. The entry... More

It is located at the north west park of hk which take an HR to arrive from city area(by bus) however I found the park is very family friendly which small kits can enjoy a lot. It is recommended to go during the autumn n winter time which the weather... More

I went to the wetland park a few years ago in the month of November. The stroll was pleasurable then, with lotus floating on the pond, vibrant flowers and non-withering scrubs, brightly-coloured fiddler crabs waving in the mud and many mud-skippers. The bird-watching wooden hut area was still cooling, despite the September weather. It is a good place to seek... More

Great value for a few hours and, as it is a long way out, a rewarding trip. We travelled from NE New Territories and the bus journey gave great views over to Shenzen. The park was close to both LRT and bus stops with entry just HKD30, so very cheap. Hides were located with free telescopes but take some mosquito... More

I was there late July and it was very hot. I would recommend taking an umbrella and definitely some sunscreen/bug spray. I didn't see much wildlife despite there being hides, but I still had a nice couple of hours walking around looking at the plants.

The trip getting here by train was almost as interesting to me as the place itself. The light rail portion of this trip takes you through several small communities--all with high rises. I was a bit disappointed with the number bird species, but there were a few different ones for me. The activities for young people are great. There is... More
