There is a market and a bizarre on adjoining blocks. Prices and selections are better than at other markets. The bizarre vendors are more pushy and some of our party did not like that. Visit both before purchasing. Located near metro and Temple Market. More worthwhile than Temple Market from my perspective.

Easy to find from the MTR and tucked away behind the Temple Market. Be prepared for pushiness from stall vendors; however, if you want good quality jade and pearls go directly to Sandra's Pearls (Sandra Chen) at stalls 437 & 447. She's honest and transparent selling fresh water pearls, mother of pearls, semi-precious stone and jade jewelry. Purchasing a considerable... More

This place is near to MTR station and its easy to reach through. Jade Market is a whole sale market where you can get silver ornaments, loose stone, loose perls with high negotiable prices. Be careful to show your interest to buy, few shopkeepers are very cunning and will try to stick with you till you buy items from them.... More

Did some shopping here today and would go back for more if I have the chance. I would not buy expensive items in a place like this since I just do not have enough knowledge of the quality of jade, but I love little imperfections and also the variety of the shades of green. You definitely do have to bargain... More

I was expecting something more but the stalls are not that special. You can barter to get some decent deals and a number of vendors speak quite good English but it's a standard Chinese market.

This is the place to shop and buy Jade. Be sure and go first thing in the morning as many retailers are packing up before noon. We had fun bargaining and got them to come off their original asking price quite a lot. However, we probably could have got them for lots less even still. Retailers spoke English well and... More

it s nice but the main problem is that there is no more creativity in all the stand you find exactly the same items, same design , same quality ....they have all the same supplier pity but some sellers are nice , funnny it was a good moment besides this market is closed to Temple Market the area is pretty... A plethora of stalls selling jade between cheap and higher end. One needs to be selective and know jade range. Higher price items are put away. Ms. Huang at stall #294 is a regular visit for me. Multiple purchases from her will be very negotiable.

My wife wanted to buy a small jade bracelet and we had been here before as it has a large choice of jade items. We went to the smaller building over the road and found what we wanted by only looking at a few stalls. The vendor was very keen for a sale and we ended up paying just over... More

Flee market setting under one roof. Individual vendors selling all sorts of stuff, primarily jade. If you like haggling and going to flee markets, you'll love this. We stopped buy for about an hour, had a lot of fun.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
