Well just come back from the Jade Market and bought some nice little presents. The market unfortunately wasn’t that much open as is the Chinese New Year in a couple of days and most shops are closed so we couldn’t get the full “experience”. Saying...More

Always weary when visiting markets. But saw previous comments on TripAdvisor so went to see Sandra on site 447. Very friendly and helpful and able to get what we wanted at a good price.

The Jade Market in HOng KOng isnt as large as I thought it would be. Nevertheless, around 400-500 odd stalls selling pretty much the same stuff - bangles, pendants, necklaces, and small showpieces. Let's face it, at these prices, its not going to be real...More

So many stalls all selling the same items, bringing out the Chinese horoscope to try and get a sympathy vote and encourage you to buy. Some have multiple pitches and hassle you repeatedly. But if you ignore them there are some really kind and helpful...More

Visited many markets on Hong Kong - this was the only one where I was physically pulled by the wrist to the stalls by the stall holders and hassled to buy (probably because of the intense level of competition there and we were almost the...More

Lots of stalls all selling pretty much similar things with the stall holders being quite persuasive in their selling. Always barter well. Sandy’s stall is very good. It is run by a brother and sister. They are not pushy and prices are reasonable but it’s...More

There were many small stores under one roof selling very similar jade items. There were lots to choose from at different price ranges. As I don't know much about jade, so I sticked to my budget. I was surprised to find a jade bangle for...More

There is a very good selection of jade products here, its a medium sized shed with individual stales of vendors and makers of jade jewellery etc, you just need to know what quality jade is.

Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong
Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong
Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma

their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in
