Really nice experience here, and reasonable ticket prices too. This would be great for anyone but especially if you have children. It's next to the avenue of stars so if you're there anyway it's definitely worth a visit. I think all in we spent around 45 minutes - 1 hour here. You could spend a little longer happily.

First time time to visit the space museum and I liked the place but maybe not so much for couples. I rather prefer more open spaces and this was very dark.

The Hong Kong Space Museum is located along Salisbury Road next to the Hong Kong Museum of Art in TST. It has been reopened after the 5th wave of the pandemic and can be visited by the public from 1pm to 9pm (Mon, Wed - Fri) and 10am to 9pm (Sat & Sun). The museum is closed on Tuesdays.

There are two permanent exhibition halls at the Space Museum (HK$10 per adult, Free for children under 4 years of age) one on the ground floor called The Cosmos Exhibition Hall' and one on the upper floor called Space Exploration Exhibition Hall'. Combined there are nearly 100 exhibits, many of them interactive and child-friendly, providing around an hour of entertainment for the little ones and opportunity for reprieve from the summer heat for adults.

The Space Museum also has a Planetarium where you can watch space themed educational films which run for approximately 45 minutes (HK$24, $36 for adults & HK$12,$16 for children). Due to limited seating capacity in the domed theatre, these shows book up fairly regularly, even during weekdays. As such, it is worth reserving tickets online through URBTIX to avoid disappointment when showing up at the museum. Otherwise, you can try directly at the Box Office which is located just outside the main entrance.

I have never been to a Space Museum before and found this place exciting and informative. We spent three hours wandering around. There are two permanent exhibitions: Hall of the Cosmos and Hall of Space Exploration. Both have many interactive exhibits, which made it a lot more interesting and fun. There is so much information on display. Vivid lighting effects and decorations. Plenty to see, touch, watch and get involved in. We had a good time. Very enjoyable, especially since it was raining a lot at the time so we gained shelter and an experience.

We headed in as it was Wednesday and so therefore free and we had some time to spare. It was quite interesting, most exhibits had english explanations. There were lots of "hands on". We only went into the exhibition hall, didn't do the show. I think it would be great for small kids and a good place to be if the weather is bad.

Badly conceived with very little of real interest. The lighting inside is rather dim and reflects badly on the explanatory signs making the very difficult to read.
