We went on what must have been the coldest day to hit Hong Kong in years but still had a great time and saw some great sights. The cable car is a must and my advice is pay a little more for the glass bottom...More

What a fabulous place discovery bay is. So chilled and relaxed. Shame the beaches are quite messy with washed up plastic and rubbish. But the locals were seen hard at work trying to clear it up. Amazing place

I travel to see culture and history. I'm also a gadget freak, so preferably the places I visit offer a mix of both modern and traditional. Hong Kong city isn't quite as giving in this regard as places like Taipei, Tokyo or Shenzhen. But paradise...More

Lantau Island was the highlight of our Hong Kong trip. Nestled away from the city, close to the airport, the place offers breathtaking view of the mountains and small lakes. While it is buzzing with tourists but one can experience peacefulness.

So much to see. We visited during chinese new year preparations. Well worth the visit. Cable car ride over was amazing, but there are other options for those not fond of heights.

The cable car ride over is amazing especially with the crystal carriage, you have a glass floor which is both scary but exciting. The big Buddha is the main attraction which is actually very impressive, both tourists and religious people come to visit so it’s...More

We went over to Lantau Island on the cable car. Unfortunately it was a freezing cold foggy day, so the views were poor. I would definitely recommend visiting the island by cable car but check the weather first and only go if it is clear.

I don't know what you mean? We took a tour bus and then another city bus to get to the fishing island.
