Loved going through the Plaza to get to the market on street level. Saw some very nice and interesting shops, all closed on a quiet Wednesday morning. At the street level there are some nice restaurants and winebar, and of course delicious doughnuts. Near a very clean and pretty kids park. I loved the ambience

In contrast to the colourful street stalls of Stanley Market, this is just a small, relatively modern shopping centre with a large carpark and an open, paved piazza area. It has a range of clothes and specialty shops, a few restaurants and cafes, a Starbucks and fast food outlets like McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut. I rarely find myself at the plaza as it is just a mall and doesn't appeal to me much. However, it fills a gap at Stanley and will suit some people, especially those looking for clean bathrooms and somewhere easy to go with children.
One nice feature is a deck that overlooks the historic Murray House and the sea. Someone with an over-active imagination has named it ‘Lovers’ Terrace’. This is a big claim for what is just a wooden deck in a shopping centre. On the other hand, it is free and it does have a good view.

Stanley Plaza is a shopping complex situated at the end of the waterfront in the seaside community of Stanley on the southern shores of Hong Kong Island. It opened in 2001 providing indoor retail shopping and additional coffee shop and restaurant options, some with alfresco seating for local residents and tourists visiting Stanley.

There are several floors of lifestyle and other retail shops and some nice elevated deck and floor views of the sea. Shops and restaurants here are a nice complement to what you'll find along the promenade and the nearby street market referred to as the Stanley Market.

Other interesting sightseeing in the area include the historic Tin Hau Temple and small Tai Wong Temple which flank the Plaza, the Murray House and Blake Pier.

Several interesting small and individual shops and also a few eating places and an icecream parlour. If one goes to Stanley, one should take time to visit Stanley Plaza. I am glad that we did!

This is the only shopping mall in Stanley. Amid the small town environment, Stanley Plaza is surprisingly vibrant during weekends. Restaurants inside the mall are pretty upscale.

Easily accessed by bus from the city centre including the tourist ‘hop on hop off’ buses, this vibrant shopping area is worth a visit (even if you don’t like shopping)! You can access the Stanley Bay Area where there are popular restaurants with picturesque sea views. When we visited there were market stalls and play areas for children. You can also access very clean western style toilets at the Plaza.

Really, it's just another shopping mall, but it is built into the side of the hill, which is an interesting arrangement, and the plaza escalators are the easiest way to get from the bus stop down to the plaza/promenade/beach. On the way down there are good views over the beach/promenade area from the balconies, and there are also some good places to eat in the mall.

For a small village the plaza is quite large but reflects the influx of tourism both in size and offering. Nice views from the top and a good mix of shops/restaurants etc. Bus stops right outside and you can then walk down to the beach area

Took a taxi from Victoria Point to spend's the afternoon here. Lots of interesting shops. We had a nice lunch at local eatery. My wife purchased several hand made jewelry pieces from local artist at craft fair inside the plaza.
