    Ocean Park Hong-Kong
I took my 7month old daughter to Ocean Park and we had a great time! There were so many fantastic animal attractions my daughter was mesmerised. We saw Pandas, sharks, sea lions, penguins and loads more animals all in one trip. The Aquarium is huge with loads of interesting viewing positions keeping her interested and to be fair every exhibit was fantastic. We went on a fairly quiet day so there were not massive crowds and no lines really which was amazing and ment we could get round the whole park without rushing but even on a busy day it still would have been worth the wait in line. Unlike other parks there were rides suitable for smaller children. The park was pushchair friendly and there were lots of baby changing facilities. You could hire pushchairs there but they weren’t suitable for small baby’s so we took our own. The app was great and allowed you to look at the various attractions and create a favourites list it then puts them in order as to there location so you can plan your route around the park. I filtered out any rides/attractions that were not suitable for small children and came up with a route around the park to make the best use of our day. We’re we’re able to take the pushchair on the cable car folded down to go up the mountain and over to the other side of the park then got the new 4minute train ride back at the end of the day. We took a picnic with us but the food and drinks on site were to pricey. A really great family day out and highly recommended.

Finally a great Chinese restaurant, eat in or carry out.
I e search the Hagerstown and Boonsboro area for a good Chinese restaurant and finally I found a GREAT Chinese restaurant. The food is wonderful! The people are gracious and the ambience is wonderful. We have eaten there 7 times trying many different things and all were great and served beautifully. Out two faves are Orange Beef and Singapore Noodles, The hot and sour soup is super. Egg rolls are a step above most. The steamed dumplings are very good. Three types of hot tea are served. Oh yes, my husbands new fave is Pad Thai. It’s all good and the people are so warm and helpful!it’s in Boonsboro in the same area as Weiss Grocery store. Good parking , closed Monday and Tuesday, open Wednesday thru Sunday.

    Pleasant Day at Ocean Park
Bought our tickets on Klook. They had great tourist discounts. Arrived and staff were pleasant and it was well organised. Toilet facilities were very clean and actually had air conditioning. Cable car was peaceful going up towards the rides section of the park. Loved seeing the animals, although believed some of the enclosures could be a little bigger. Rollercoaster is super fun and if you can concentrate whilst on it, it is one of the best views at the park. Saw the red panda and giant panda having feed times. Would definetly come here again. One thing to do: arrive at park opening time and catch the cable car straight away to the ride section and get that done with first, as when we finished and came back to the remainder of the park, the line was over an hour wait.

An inclusive theme park for rides and animals viewing!
The park is huge in size and expect lots of walking. The lower part of the hill consists mainly of the asian animals viewing namely the pandas and otters and also an aquarium . The exciting rides and carnival kiosks are located at the upper hill side. One can choose to acess the upper hill via cable car rides which takes longer but you get a view of the ocean riding up or the faster way will be the “ submarine “ train up. Queues at the rides seems relatively faster compared to Disney but still the popular one can wait up to 40mins approximately. Lesser crowd here definitely. Overall, this is still a great park to visit though the park can looked very dated compared to Disney. Well, Ocean Park is ultimately the first theme park of Hong Kong afterall. Ps: they do bag checks at the entrance but outside food is allowed:)

    Nice Day Out
A bit overcrowded but manageable. The tram up the hill rather than queuing the cable car is a plus especially for parents with kids on prams; otherwise the cable cars are good fun as well. The only one thing that needs improvement is to provide more seating benches, Special mention to a volunteer, Daisy, in the rare Sichaun Golden Sub-nosed monkey. She is very informative and helpful.

    winner
Aside from the heat Ocean Park was a winner. We had just come from HK Disneland where the lines were long and everything was crowded. At Ocean Park we often had wait times of 5 minutes or less. In addition the cable car gives spectacular views of the harbor.

    Great fun without the queues
This is a review for ocean park waterworld, which is different from Ocean Park. This is a largely indoor water park, with an outdoor pool and some outdoor slides. Easy to get in, no queue. Max queue was 10 mins for slides, but mostly no queue at all. Staff efficient at keeping things moving. Good number of inflatables available for pool and lazy river. Bring own towel. It's quite pricey, but this is a quality park. Loads of showers and changing rooms. Food is basic stuff. If you like water parks, this will keep you happy. They do weigh you here, but do it in a sensitive manner. Take note Andamandia in Phuket!

1 of the must-dos in Hong Kong
Ocean Park wasn't busy on Wednesday (9/20/2023). I am sure it's a different story on weekends and during Golden weeks (a week in April and October where many from Mainland China visit Hong Kong). I arrived before the park opened at 10 am, the line was short. Love the Asian Animals even though I only saw the male panda (so adorable), the female was either sleeping or hiding; the red panda is cute too. No waiting on cable car or Ocean Express. The park is beautiful, clean and well maintained, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I was not used to the hot and humid weather but found relief in the various air conditioned exhibits (Aquarium, Asian animals, penguin, sea jelly, etc.). Didn't do any thrill rides, enjoyed Sea Life Carousel, The Rapids, Arctic Blast. I put on a disposable poncho to ride The Rapids but it really wasn't necessary, you got a little wet but that was it. Ocean Park is well worth visiting for adults and children. They don't give out map anymore so best to download their app.

Good place, if you don't mind staying in line all day
There is a lot of fun stuff that you can do here. You can eat nice foods too, there are a lot of things that you have to pay extra for. A LOT cheaper than Disney. But the lines that you stay on, it is bad. If you stay there a whole day and 80-90 percent of your time is standing in line, that is not the perfect day

understaffed, top runs out of service
We visited OP second time, first time was in 2019. Rides are short, changeover process slow and inefficient, and often carts or floats sitting 6-9 people are only filled with one or two riders - all this leading to long queues. Also, several rides are temporarily or permanently out of service, such as Abyss, two rollercoasters in Marine World as well as the dolphin show (see pictures). Over all rather disappointing. The aquarium and panda encounter are very good, though. Also easy to reach my MTR.

Our extended family of 4 adults and 4 children (ranging from ten to 6 years old) visted here during the busy Chinese New Year holidays.

This is a fantastic park with animals, shows, rides and lots to do for all ages. We focused on seeing the aqualife in the aquarium and shark exhibit. We moved on to the penguins and artic foxes which are beautiful - we were lucky to see them as they were being fed. We watched the dolphin and sea lion show which is in Cantonese and Mandarin (sadly no English). We took the train up and cable car down, finishing with a visit to the pandas. The large souviner shop near the entrance/exit of the park is worth a visit.

A day is not enough if you want to also go on rides and see more of the park. Food outlets get busy so during peak times, I suggest you eat early/later to avoid the rush.

Overall, a great visit. Enjoy!

I came here 16 years ago, 10 years ago, and last week. It's starting to feel a little 1990's now. The aquarium was as beautiful as always, and the pandas were lovely to see. The cable car was also great. That said, the coasters were reminiscent of Blackpool Pleasure Beach with the rust and ricketyness. Aspects of the park are in dire need of an update, including the restaurant at the top of the cable car, which was overly expensive and outdated feeling. It's worth a visit, but for such a well-known park of Hong Kong it's really not worth the 1000 HKD (£100) I paid for us both to visit. We comfortably seen most things within 2 hours.

Last month, I went there with my family members, the experience there is really bad.
I'm from main land China, my native language is Mandarine. They always talk with me in Cantonese, I couldn't understand. Then they reluctantly talk with me in Mandarine.
I book the tickets on line which include a snack. I don't know why the system has problem I couldn't get my snack, the staff there are not willing to help us. Eventually the problem has been solved and I could get my food, the staff there help me order the food restlessly.
I don't know what I did wrong, I feel I'm not be welcomed.
I won't recommend my friends around me go there. there are so many new opening ocean park here.
By the way, recently you couldn't see dolphin in the park.

We were surprised by the online discount for tickets, but this was explained by a significant proportion of attractions, areas, and even vending machines out of order or closed.
Parts of the park looked run down and food prices were high.
Attraction highlights were the pandas, the cable car, the aquarium. A lot of walking is involved, some of it quite steep. The online map is not particularly useful for English speaking visitors.

Our group of 13 adults went here Jan 26, 2024.
My last visit was with family and friends May 2019, we buy tickets from Klook @ promo rate of 2+1 then.
We purchase fr same site at FULL RATE this time.
The crowds then was around 70-80 % conpare to our recent visit so we were so relived as there was no shoving and all fr other visitors inside the Aquarium.
Apparently the reason for the thin crowd inside is the DOLPHIN/Sea Lion? SHOW which is CLOSED INDEFINITELY.
Really! No Dolphin Show!!!
First time in our experience anywhere that there is no such a show like that.
They should CLOSE this Park or at least offer a 50% off entrance fee.

Very Disappointed indeed.
Don't waste your time there.

A classic family park. Don't expect the slickness of the Mouse House. It was quiet at the start of January, which suited us. Queues for the thrill attractions were short. The main animal attraction was the giant pandas (of course). The Arctic / Antarctic areas were good too. Buy tickets online.

We bought the tickets from K**k and it was much cheaper than buying directly from OP. The park was huge and despite seeing the huge crowd waiting at the entrance before opening, the queue was short. We didn’t wait long for cable car and Carousel. This park caters to both the young and old. It has animals like penguins, fish, pandas ,etc for the young children and thrill rides for the older ones. I wish there were more thrill rides (kiddy version) for the little ones. It was very cold and windy up the mountain so be prepared for thick jackets and ear muffs. There is a Mac d kiosk near the rainforest and some seats.

It was amazing experience with the kids, There are less people that is why the queue was not really bad unlike other parks was over crowded everytime so even without buying fast lane we almost try everything in one day

It was very friendly and really good for family especially kids.
