Large Daoist temple...many fortune teller stalls all vying for you to pick them to tell you your fortune. Lots of people praying and incense burning. Tough on my sensitive eyes but worth a visit.

Adjacent to the Wong Tai Sin metro stop. Simple to enter inside. The temple is a temporary structure that attracts both locals and visitors like myself for prayer. Just before you go, make a wish. If you feel that you can afford it, make a donation to the temple.

The temple are clean and convenient to there. Take the train then get off at Wang Tai Sin station and walk thru the temple. Most of people though about pray for luck and couples life. I visited it often for my luck as well ^^

It was easily reached via Exit B3 - MTR Wong Tai Sin. The temple was famous for prayers. We enjoyed wandering and enjoying the beautiful structures and landscape in and around the temple.

It was raining heavily the day I went. The rain & incense added an air of magic. Beautiful architecture & the waterfall T the back by Guan Yin statue is stunning & peaceful. Really enjoyed it!!

I went with a foreigner tourist at the Mid Autumn Lantern Festival. one Male staff shouted at my foreigner friend in Chinese. I told him that he shouldn't shout and certainly not in Chinese. He shout at me that he is a Chinese in Hong Kong. Why should he speak in English. And he goes on and on and on on China patriotism nonsense. this place is tourists unfriendly

Wong Tai Sin Temple 🤩
One of the most beautiful temples in Hong Kong 🤩
This is a beautifully colorful Taoist temple in the city center with a beautiful Wishing Garden right next to it, where we can rest.
The temple was built in 1921 according to the principles of feng shui and considered a source of happiness.
It combines Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism.
During the war, miracles happened in the temple, so the residents strongly believe in the healing power of the temple.
Place must see in Hong Kong 🤩

This temple is famed for its fortune telling, but I think there are a good portion of tellers that are puffing smoke. She asked me questions and told me my life would be better after 30. Whose life isn't better after 30?
She also told me ambiguous things based on my answers about my life. I think a good fortune teller should just be able to read you and not have to ask personal questions. Avoid booth 114.

There was a lot to see at this famous temple in HK. The garden area was very beautiful and if it weren’t for the summer heat I would have loved to stay a bit longer to appreciate all its details.

Quale autobus dall’arrivo dello star ferry posso prendere per questo tempio?
Written 23 January 2019
I guess it may be easier to take a taxi straight there from the airport, otherwise you have to change a few stations using MRT. Not sure if there is any direct bus from airport to Wong Tai Sin Temple.
Written 30 January 2019
If you are tourist and likes to enjoy sightseeing, you can always catch a bus which uses Cross Harbour Tunnel at Hung Hum then transfer to another bus upon reaching Kowloon to go to the temple. During busy hours, for the fastest trip, you should take MTR to go direct from Aberdeen to save the trouble of sitting in traffic jam along the way. Just ask around. It shouldn't be a problem as Wong Tai Sin is famous enough in HK.
Enjoy...
