The HK museums are larger than we could imagine. It takes approximately half of the day to see and enjoy a museum. And especially, this museum of science covers almost everything related to science. I was skeptical about this science museum and hence allotted lesser time in my plan. I wish I could have spent some more time here. Keeping... More

We visited with another family with 3 young boys. The wind and sailing demo is quite interesting. Our kids loved the ball gravity rolling demo too. The magnet and electricity section is also interesting. Our children are younger then 5 so you do have to explain some of the reasons for each demo. It also looks like there is a... More

We were there for almost half a day and it was very educational and entertaining for my kids. We took our time to explore each section, it was well maintained and taken care of for its age. Worth trying!

Went during Chinese New Year and there was a queue to enter and a lot of people inside but still manage to walk around and the kids (14 and 11) could play and learn. The entry for kids is now free (we were there one time before and was not) which is a good way to encourage the parents to... More

Not as big as other science museums around the world. Very reasonably priced tickets means you dont feel bad just spending a few hours here (which is all you really need). The kids really enjoyed the interactive parts of the museum and it wasnt too busy even on the weekend.

The HK Science Museum is a good place to bring your children. You can teach them science when they are playing.

The Science museum is average. We saw a good show but I've seen better. Take your kids there and they might enjoy. If you are visiting HK then go there only if you have seen everything which is a must do and still have some spare time.

Visited with a 6yr old on a cold, cloudy day. We spent hours and hours there and could have spent longer except we were tired. The museum is suitable for all ages with an area for younger children also. It was a shame my 6yr old couldn't try out the virtual reality part of the T-rex exhibition, but the rest... More
