This park has some nice features including the tea museum and the aviary but I quite frankly just enjoyed the peaceful oasis in the middle of crazy Hong Kong. Take a few minutes out of your planned schedule and take a stroll through the beautiful gardens to reset and relax. There is even free WIFI so why not move your business... More

My family and I literally stumbled and discovered Hong Kong Park in between Pacific Place and the Peak Tram. It's not too big, as parks go, but it's pretty. It had a fountain, a pond with fish and a lot of birds singing their song. It's a nice place to rest your weary feet and relax from all that shopping.

This place is quite easy to find from admiralty station, we went into the mall and took the escalators up to the park which was a doddle. The park itself has a nice water feature and its full of kids participating in their fun activities. It is much busier than the botanical/zoological gardens & nan liang gardens so avoid if... More

Our visit was really great due to the fact that the scourge of visiting anywhere these day are not allowed here. The gardens and water features are beautiful and although busy were peaceful considering it is (almost) in the middle of the city. Park attendants - keep up the good work of telling people not to walk around with their... More

Serenity. It is a beautiful garden in the midst of a busy Hong Kong. I love the fish and turtle pond. Must have afternoon tea at Look Cha Tea House!

If you are staying in Central Hong Kong and need a break from business and the high end shops, take a walk through Hong Kong Park. In particular, walk through the aviary; a very unique attraction and lovely done.

I always make time to stroll through this park on my visits to Hong Kong. The tea museum and the conservatory are interesting. Such a relaxing place to escape the hustle and bustle of busy Hong Kong.

Very clean, and its possible to forget you're in the middle of HK. The park is very busy in the weekends, but I would recommend going there in the evenings during the week. The park is virtually deserted, but it still has a great atmosphere.

My office is closeby and in two min I am surrounded by nature ....The air is clean, the environment is relaxing. Nothing can be a better stress buster than watching turtles sun bathe with a backdrop of waterfall. Colorful fish and exotic water plants make it my top choice destination every week.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
