Yes, it's a nice gentle walk which we took about 2 hours to do, stopping here and there on the way. There are loos at the half-way point too. We arrived on Lamma and walked to Sok Kwu Wan, from where we caught a ferry...More

30mins ferry away from central pier 4, a local village style little island with few small beaches around and there are local Chinese seafood restaurant as well as western food to choose.

Ignore the guidebooks, this trail is substantially more hilly than anyone reports. Perhaps we took it too fast, but coming from Lamma, the trail vaults upward after the beach and keeps climbing consistently. Yes, it is a paved trail and not particularly tricky to walk...More

After reading reviews, I approached this hike from Sok Kwu Wan, walking towards Yung Shue Wan, and there is one long and steep section towards the end that way, walking Down. I can see how coming the opposite direction would have made the start of...More

The central hike on lamma island is a nice one. Noting special but okay, some hills but noting to steap for anyone. There are lots of places to stop and eat in lamma.

My family and I took a ferry from Hong Kong to Sok Kwu Wan. From there we did a circular hike at the South End of the island. It was a hot humid day and the climb was hard work. The views, however, were spectacular....More

Walk trail is great with some lovely views, some parts are in lots of foliage and others are up high on the hill. Be aware there are some steep parts up hill to conquer, so a moderate fitness is required especially if you do this...More

I hiked from Shung Shue Wan to Sok Kwu Wan, and it was amazing. Definitely Advise doing in nice weather, but maybe not mid summer as half of the hike is unshaded. Half way are two beaches, whcih i highly advise going to. At the...More
