We had three days in Hong Kong and spent a day on Lantau Country Park. Spend about 3 hours round trip to see Big Buddha. Another 3 hours to visit Tai O or do some hiking in the area. We have a great day here.

Experience the beautiful countryside of Hong Kong. Easy to reach various trails by bus from Tung Chung. The best place (except Sai Kung) to walk in tranquility and peace in Hong Kong

The Lantau trail is great and has a number of different sections but this time it was so hot and sunny we just stuck to the cable car, Budda and wisdom path rather than climbing in the heat.

Lantau has an abundance of trails to enjoy. The Lantau trail has numerous sections and something for everybody. Perfect starting point is the Big Buddha which can be reached by Gondolo or Bus.
