Stanley is very different to other parts of Hong Kong, or completely different from what you think about Hong Kong. Stanley, located at the southern of Hong Kong island, is much more relaxed with beaches, hills and coves. You will find the western atmosphere in this small Chinese town.

Don’t go for the beach, much better ones elsewhere, go to Lantau or Sai kung for beaches, go here for a nice brunch on the promenade and then a quick walk around the market for some shopping

Amazing this little village is so close to the concrete jungle! Beautiful buildings, pier, plaza, temple and generally nice area to wander around. You can see why it’s included on tours of the island!
