This was more of a "see when in the area". You walk along a street full of flower shops, and everything smells nice, and looks nice and the shops are bustling with people, and the atmosphere is nice, but that is it. As a tourist you can't really buy any plants with you - maybe a flower pot. We went... More

Like previous reviewer before me, the only reason my girlfriend and I visited the flower market was because we were queuing for "One dimsum". You can find many flowers here but not much variety. Personally, if you are on a tight schedule, you can skip this "attraction".

Green thumbs will love a walk along flower market road. While we could not really buy anything the standard of flowers was unbelievable. It is worth a look and link it up with the other markets in the area.

All the reviews said go early. We couldn't sleep (jet lag) so got there around 8am. It was dead. Hung around till 9am. Still dead. I'm sure it's nice..... if and when it's open.

Take a train to prince Edward & follow the signs to the flower street. Plenty of flower shops and u can smell the fragrance of the flowers. Take note that some shops do not allow photography. Most shops sell almost the same things, so after passing by a few we decided to head to the next street- goldfish street. It's... More

The fragrance as you walk along the streets is just amazing. All the flowers you would ever want to buy plus a lot of plants you may never have seen before. Great stuff.

I'm not a flower person so I was skeptical over making this trip when my friend recommended. But, good thing I still did it. Pine trees are being sold this season so the street had a really nice smell. So many succulents too! Very nice for a morning trip. Enjoyed the nearby local cafes also. They don't shove you out... Made it to the Flower Market. Several streets just jam-packed with flower stores…every variety you can think of from simple carnations and daisies to exotics like protea and anthuriums. Some shops sold only vases…all shapes and sizes…others water fountains. Some specialized in Bonsai, others bamboo, others orchids. Quite the sight. We had fun guessing the reason bundles of flowers were... More
