Located less than 30 minutes from central Kowloon by taxi or MTR, this venue was an excellent way for us to enjoy the seaside atmosphere of Hong Kong, take in the harbor views with small fishing vessels and experience a seafood village. We visited before lunch time and were rewarded with uncommon sights and sounds without the large crowds. There... More

I went here with friends who are from HK they had picked the food. For 5 of us our bill came out too $3000hkd about $500 aud i thought that was alot which this did not include fish or crab or crayfish. Very exspensive. Check before you buy anything cause it could cost you.

I couldn't recommend this place. Dishonest and couldn't get a straight answer on price of seafood. They changed scales and made every excuse possible. The sweet and sour pork had practically NO pork inside. Some pieces were only deep fried flour. Don't waste your time. It's not worth the hassle.

We visited this place on a Thursday evening and it wasn’t very crowded. There were plenty of seafood vendors with tanks and buckets containing various assortment of live seafood for sale. It was quite a sight to see. People can choose whatever seafood that they want to eat and have one of the numerous restaurants in the area cook it... More

Excellent food, but we were ignorant of the need to bargain for prices. We ended up paying $650HKD per person - far too much for that type of food. Would advise that people negotiate a price beforehand or at least be forewarned that the meal can get pricey fast.

A little touristy but not bad. There are many restaurants but I get the feeler that any one of them will be fine. You pick out your fish from a supplier nearby and the restaurant prepares it. It's fun and something to do with visitors.

The fish market has a wealth of strange and interesting things for sale, among the usual offerings. Lots of color, activity, smells, and you can choose what you want to eat for lunch if you have a mind to do so.

We had dinner here with local friends and they took us to the Lei Yu Mun fish market,it is each time a wonderful experience, very impressing to see the amount of living fish in the aquariums ready for eating, we had crab, an excellent fish and fried rice, all of outstanding quality. It is an absolute must.
