The museum was interesting. All the history of how the dam came to be. Amazing story of all the flooding and how they changed the direction of the river. Very pretty grounds to walk through.

The 3 Gorges post the scenic view one never can find in the world. The beauty of the vegetations and rocks are facinating to the artists.

The museum is in the Peoples park, and gives a very good display of Chinese history in the region, and it's multi-layered culture. Two hours minimum should be reserved to do it justice.

This museum is free and it has 4 floors with different exhibitions. It will take 2-3 hours if you like history. We went on Wednesday no much queue but lots of local tourists. Strongly recommended.

This is an incredible piece of engineering - well worth seeing. It is helpful to have a guide that can explain everything. There are escalotors so it easy to get to the top. Make sure that you have water, good shoes, hat and sunscreen. Fantastic...More

Worth a trip to see the Hydro-dam, new and old lift systems. The journey to the top is eased by escalators (thank God!) and the further 170 odd steps are quite easy....apart from the Chinese that refuse to obey the one-way signs for going up...More
