If you have the time, well worth going. No entrance fee, beautiful and very well maintained. Not too busy

This three gorge dam is quite an engineering project. It is massive and controls flooding along the Yangtze River. It is the largest hydroelectric power station in the world.

Had a great time here. The museum is very big but still well organized. And the best of it is it’s free! Make sure you check out the gift shop too which isn’t overpriced like many others.

Well worth a visit. The 3 gorges dam is an amazing feat of engineering. The actual scale of what the Chinese had to do to build this dam is simply mind blowing. Before building, the Chinese built a trial prototype . The museum has 3 floors.

The museum could have been really good if they had English captions. They only have that in one room on ground floor :-(
