重庆周边众多避暑解凉的一个好地方。距离重庆主城很近，开车自驾的话差不多2个小时都到了，地方很美哈，很凉快，真不愧是重庆西部地区的小南海

第一次去就被深深吸引住了，无法想象这是地震后的景色，那就是我想象中了绿水青山的感觉，动静相宜，山与水就这样交融在一起让人移不开眼，再加上那地震出的各式山石更是添加了几分独特的自我的个性，这是大自然赐予的生命，美好到让人无法呼吸。

小南海是地震所形成的，听说是整个地面下沉然后形成湖泊，听当地人讲，以前湖水很清澈，天气好的话会看到湖底的房子，也可以潜水，近些年不允许了。在景区外可以看到地震后留下的地貌，当时的山石经过多年的冲刷变得很圆滑，湖水碧绿碧绿的，很好看。虽然景区不大，但是一日游还是不错的
