The Chongqing Grand Theatre, supposedly built as Chongqing's answer to the Sydney Opera house, is an impressive building and worth a visit. Walk around it during the day and photograph it at night for sure. It becomes and amazing screen of a night and even more impressive from across the river. There is a reasonable coffee shop in the foyer which sells some interesting and quirky merchandise.
