We did not go to any performances here, but certainly spend an hour or two looking at both the interior and exterior of the building. The exterior on a sunny day, and we had one, looks amazing as the metal exterior glints in the sun....More

the NCPA is one of the most beautiful buildings inside and outside that I've ever visited. Do yourself a favour and get cultured, do a tour of the inside. It was the highlight of my Beijing trip.

Spent 30 mins walking around the outside of this amazing building.....so much more impressive than the Opera House in Sydney. Inside was stunning with live classical music before the show.

Beautiful architecture, definitely recommended to go in, view the exhibition, and probably catch a free concert in the hall. However if you decide to go for an classical concert or an opera, be prepared to meet some of the most intolerable audiences. Unlike audiences in...More

By accident we happened upon this place. It is amazing. It is a performing arts center and museum all in one. It is just off/behind the main buildings on Tianamen Square. Wish we had had the chance to see a performance like a Peking Opera...More

If I had gone the performing artist route, this would be one of those ultimate venues to perform in. We didn’t really plan on taking a tour initially, but once I realized we could, the NPAC building seemed so massive that I just wanted to...More
