We visited the Olympic park in the evening when the buildings were illuminated in beautiful colours, and walked through the length of the park where many people were either visiting and taking pictures, or dancing together! There are many shops and stalls to buy food...More

Come see the water cube and the birds' nest but only from the outside otherwise you need to pay to see inside.

The park will be well lit at night. You get to see the beauty of the buildings when they come to life after sunset. Again, expect a lot of tourist.

I did not visit inside. Outside is the gigantic construction that is interesting. We were told that families spend the day inside since the parks are now for visitors.

The air quality should be ok. I wouldn't bother with the tour. Just pay at the entrance and you can make your own way up to the roof. There might not be a lot to see though.

There was 1 shop close to the metro stop. They were showing a video of the olympics. We watched this to see how the sited looked at the time of the games but no idea what else they were selling.
