Its an okay stop, but I don't think it's worth going out of your way for. It's also not worth a tour.

You don't have to be a sports fan in order to deeply appreciate the park. I strongly recommend to visit the area after dark (7 PM) - when the stadium, the Olympic pool and towers are beautifully lit. The architecture is impressive and the area...More

Avoid at all cost to take the VIP night tour, it's expensive and does not worth it. If you Visit the stadium at night you'll see a booth right outside of the entrance selling tickets for the VIP night tour. They only take you to...More

Really enjoyed our visit to the Olympic Park. We decided to go at night and we were glad we did even if we couldn't enter the Bird's Nest because of an ongoing concert. Both the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube look beautiful illuminated at...More

Though a bit expensive, we took the ride to the top of the Olympic towers. The views from there are astounding. Quite a few of other places in the park require ticket purchase. Overall, quite an impressive place to spend time at.

It is easy to be overwhelmed with the size of the park. First, it is free to enter the park. But to enter certain complex like the aquatic center and the bird’s nest, you need to pay. For me, these two made me happy already....More

It was a very interesting experience being in the stadium that held the Olympic Games. It wasn't too crowded and being in September, it was a very nice cool weather and it took us about 2 hours to slowly stroll around the Olympic park and...More

Beijing is one of those enigmatic cities, you either love it or hate it. Personally I like Beijing, with its mix of modern architecture and its historical buildings and temples, and the hustle and bustle of a large cuty. Just make sure to time your...More

The air quality should be ok. I wouldn't bother with the tour. Just pay at the entrance and you can make your own way up to the roof. There might not be a lot to see though.

There are some great Olympic Games souvenirs inside the stadium. A “Normal” entrance ticket is 40 Yuan (20 Yuan for concessions). I recommend the encapsulated section of 2008 Games grass/soil, price 150 Yuan.
