This was amazing to see all the iconic landmarks from the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Be prepared to walk as it covers a vast area. A shame that you were not allowed to access the Arena, 5 Nails either.

Definitely go on a sunny day. My partner and I paid ¥80 (~£10) each to climb on the roof of the bird’s nest, this was amazing. Sadly the Olympic track had been turned into a snow adventure park so it didn’t look as it would...More

I guess if I want to look at old buildings, even if they are Temples (to sport), I would tend to look for something older that 9 years old. The good news is that you can get there on the subway so you don't waste...More

This the area where the 2008 Olympic was held mainly. It consisted of several sport places, like the National Stadium, the swimming center, the media center. It is nowadays used as the national conference and exhibition center with several hotels and many restaurants nearby.

We wanted to pass the location as we were so impressed during the Olympics. The Chinese have become masters of unique architecture, blending modern with classic while maintaing function.

I loved going here for a bike ride or run in the morning (when there is no pollution ), not to far from liangmaqao also close to the universities.

Decided to visit here as travelling Asia with my boyfriend. There is not a lot to see here however it is worth visiting if you don't plan on ever returning to Beijing again.

It was smoggy and the middle of the week when I visited Olympic Park in Beijing. There isn’t much to do other than meander around and look at the once lively park. The Cube and other noteworthy buildings weren’t open but they were amazing to...More

The Olympic Park in Beijing is an outstanding example of modern architecture, which is beautifully lit at night. The large main avenue of the Olympic Park extends between two subway stations - Olympic Sports Center on line 8 in the south and Olympic Green (served...More

The air quality should be ok. I wouldn't bother with the tour. Just pay at the entrance and you can make your own way up to the roof. There might not be a lot to see though.

There was 1 shop close to the metro stop. They were showing a video of the olympics. We watched this to see how the sited looked at the time of the games but no idea what else they were selling.
