I went into the Birds Nest I had to pay. But it was worth every penny, magnificent stadium. The walk way up to the stadium was massive, and all the places around the complex worth seeing.

The Olympic park is a must see which was part of our tour package. While some countries have let there Olympic parks go to ruins China has kept the Olympic park up and going. The area is now open to the public and still highly...More

We had time to spare so went to this vast park. The wall of medals is amazing and you can spend ages looking at all of the names.

DOs and TIPS! Great place for a walk and remembering 2008 Olympics. It got a fake-lake where people could camp and play simple outdoor games with family and kids. Guards are all around to make sure peace and order. Around here you will see the...More

Our business hosts brought us for about an hour and a half, in a summer afternoon. It was enough time for us to walk around and admire the buildings. The park is very well maintained, and it's a good place for kids or adults.

The birds nest is one of the most unique and cool buildings I've ever seen. Also the Olympic torch and water cube. And a list of all medal winners. Really nice atmosphere and good place to see the sun set actually. Several MTR stations in...More

Impressive complex. Still in pristine condition, unlike many other former Olympic sites. The Bird's Nest and Water Cube were as impressive in real life as on the TV. This is worth a visit just to see the engineering and level of detail that still exists...More

This is a great show of design. This is a big area where you can visit different sports scenarios built specifically for the 2008 Olympics. There is the Birds Nest and the Water Cube and a big square in the middle to stroll around. There...More

Definitely worth a visit when you are in Beijing - especially the Birds Nest stadium. Looks impressive outside and probably even more so inside. Locsted about 40 minutes from the city centre.

The air quality should be ok. I wouldn't bother with the tour. Just pay at the entrance and you can make your own way up to the roof. There might not be a lot to see though.

There was 1 shop close to the metro stop. They were showing a video of the olympics. We watched this to see how the sited looked at the time of the games but no idea what else they were selling.
