This is a fun culture leisure area, it’s has lots of human pull tri-cycle, 1st pick your route then, make sure u bargain down, start with less then 1/2 of what they asked for and work you way up ! Also price are per person not a tri-cycle.. so bargain bargain & bargain it as a tri-cycle for 2 person.
We love walking around the area, little shop and lots of China souvenirs. But also make sure bargain everything down if possible.
This area is walking distance from the Bell & Drum tower, so plan it all together.
There are also lots of small restaurants here too.
So eat eat away. Enjoy

It's a 200 m walk (5 min) from exit D of the Dongsi Shitiao metro station on line 2. It's a nice stroll, but don't make this a destination. Basically, it's a shopping and dining destination. This is the location of the old imperial granary. Other than maintaining the facades of the old buildings, the insides house modern restaurants and stores. There's a few stone markers to describe the granary in its former glory. Come here if you want a cool dining experience.
