This was dubbed as the most popular shopping street but we were so disappointed when we got here. It's a huge and wide street but so empty with no street activities. There used to be a street market or sorts but it is cleared now, in place is a small food court that has some street food options that didn't really piqued our interests. They are all international brands here, price-wise they are not any cheaper than our home country. We entered some malls and they are quite empty as well, and shops are mostly closed by 930pm. A disappointing visit that we will not recommend and be back for.

The bustling Wangfujing pedestrian street and its side streets are home to numerous local and international shops, restaurants, cafes, and more. Many come here to chill out, people-watch, and relax.

This place has lost its traction to me. It is a relatively quiet street, as compared to Sanlitun. The malls were not interesting.

The street food alley has closed, I think it is permanent based on my conversation with the local. I understood that all the small stores / flea market style shopping has also closed in Beijing since COVID. We mostly saw only shopping malls / stores as shown in my photos left in Wangfujing. A little disappointed.

Since the traditional market street was removed, this destination has lost much of its charm. As a commercial shopping center, it offers some great stores. Most frequently visited place for myself and friends is the Cheescake Factory - nice taste of home for expats and family.

An ok place, depending on what you are after. Full shopping centres with lots of big brands, some Chinese tea shops. An amazing foreign bookstore - probably the best part of the street! Nice to spend an afternoon on this street walking round, but a bit too western for me!

This area is home to a few very nice malls and is surrounded by higher end hotels. Lots of dining options and shops for all kinds of budgets. As of December 2020 it is hard to find mall open mall entrances and a health code and temperature check is a must at most. The malls are very clean and bright as well.

We had an enjoyable evening walking, shopping and dining in the Wangfujing Street area. There is always something new to see. For diner we had Cantonese dim sum at Fuji Tea House.

Although one of the most famous shopping streets in Beijing, we were not that impressed with Wangfujing street. Compared to similar places in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, etc. this scores less in terms of charm and content.
