Just keep walking and you will see so much that Beijing has to offer. A wide space of high-end brands, mesmerising silk stores and all kinds of shops and restaurants. I have only been there twice while on holiday there but it is really nice to go there during day time and night time even if it is just for... More

I stayed at a hotel on Wangfujing Street. There is a lot of shopping and places to eat. The only warning I will give is that people will prey on you if you are a tourist, which is basically noticeable if you noticeable aren't Chinese. Don't talk to Chinese people who come up to you speaking english and you will... More

Lots of interesting shops and department stores. We went once in the day on our way to the Forbidden City, then again in the evening when it really comes alive. A walk through the night markets was interesting although seeing the live scorpions on skewers was a bit hard to take. We went to McDonalds for coffee, as the stuff... More

Would not recommend this area to anyone. There are much nicer places to visit in Beijing for shopping, eating or scenery. It is full of five star hotels and boutique type stores. Prices in stores were significantly higher than prices back home in Australia. Touts were every day occurrences, with young people either wanting to chat and practice their English... More

The side streets to the West are the ones to see. STREET Food and cheap deals. The food is prices 1x to 3x on t he signs. ALL items are discounted. Good food if you find the busy shops so the food was not sitting too long.

Walk down the street food stalls once to get the experience.. overall the food was pretty horrible.. the quality of food was bad and we ended up tasting things then throwing it away.. after noticing poor people going through the garbage cans for food.. I started leaving our unwanted food wrapped up and on top of the garbage cans.. the... More

Loads of shops. From normal ones to the most luxury brands. They are all here. Probably every brand is represented. I found it nice to walk around a bit, but sometimes it was too crowdy. If you are a man and walking there alone, watch out for nice, beautiful, friendly ladies who want to improve their English with you. They... More

Everyone should come to this street and surrounding area for food and shopping. This is the best place with reasonable price. Vendors are very nice, friendly and knowledgeable of their products.

We stayed just off Wangfujing street and found it really easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit in Dongcheng. Night market definitely worth a visit. Lots of places to eat off the Main Street.

If you haven't heard of the Wangfujing Street before, well don't worry i didn't too, but you have to go there, it's amazing, more than 1 Km of a walking street, full of malls, stores, food places. You will find from the most expensive and world famous stores to the little food places in a Hutong where you will have... More
