Make sure you set aside at least a half day to walk around this amazing site. Temples, courtyards, thrones, antiques - this place has them all.

This is one of the main gates into the Forbidden City and is connected to Tiananmen Square. It's crowded and there's a security check to get into the Forbidden City but it's worth the effort!
