Easy subway access- Line 8 Muxi Yuan stop Exit A2 comes out directly into Block B of Bairong. It is a huge interconnecting mall with well organised floor selling different items. Each floor stretch from Block A-C hence will need to walk a lot. There is another Block D behind too. Need to bargain though starting price here are lower compared to tourist areas. I see more local shoppers than tourist here. Mostly local brands. The shops are much less aggressive and selection here is different compared to Silk Market.
There is a food court upstairs on 6th floor. Most of the menu is in Chinese and they do not speak much English. The food stall I bought lunch from do not accept cash over the counter but I am not sure if it applies to other stalls.
Spent 5 hours here and covered only half the area. If you are looking for value souvenirs/ gifts, this is the place.

Not so many tourist here. Easily accesible by metro. Kindly google map before you arrive in beijing. Every category in one floor such as female fashions, kitchen utensils, male category, shoes. And every floor is so so big. The price is very cheap compare to other tourist site as this is wholesale centre.I went alone and manage to buy a few things eventhough nobody speak english there.

If you want to find somethings cheap just go to this place. Easy way to go there by metro stop at Muxiyuan ( take line 14 and change at Yongdingmenwai to line 8 to Muxiyuan) is just infront of the mall. Or you can stop at Yongdingmenwai line 14.
The shopping mall have 2 building. The front one for clothes and shoes. The back one/ building 2 for bags, gift and toys.
At this place should bargain about 30-40% from the price they offer you.

A large discount shopping mall spread of two 6-storey buildings. The back building is half closed for renovations. The place is mostly a destination for local Beijingers, unlike the Pearl Market (HongQiao) that is a total tourist trap for foreigners. As a result, in Bairong the sellers are not as puhsy as in HongQiao and you can actually browse for things without too much stress. Prices are comparable to HongQiao and the selection is same or better, depending on the items. You can still bargain at Bairong, but not as much as HongQiao.

This is actuall a mall and very far what a flea market would look like. Theyre actually two adjoining buildings, the front is bigger than the other one at the back.

The big one has six floors teeming with shops from end to end. Each floor is has specific merchandise, ie. mens clothing (1st floor), womens clothing, shoes, sportswear and so on. 4th floor has some cool restos and coffee shops to hangout and there is a food court at the 6th floor. There's Donalds, KFC and KungFu fastfood, so no problems when you get hungry.

The adjoining building is where the toys are, one whole floor if it. Also home essentuals are here, souvenirs you'd find in most tourist areas are also here. And there is a hip supermarket that carry ipported goods and sells fresh seafoods, live crabs, shellfish, lobsters and shrimps and even octopus.

If you plan to shop in Beijing, this is the place and you'd be leaving with a luggage full of things. And I think what makes this place great is that shopkeepers are not pushy unlike is other tourist areas.

Shop till you drop here, and watch out for your excess baggage.!

This is really not one would associate with a flea market, as it is housed in an airconditioned building with five levels. One has to bargain hard to get a good deal. There is everything from clothing to luggage to toys and everything in between.
On the fourth level is a really good place to have a coffee and chill out. The owners there are extremely friendly and helpful.

This place has 8,000 shops. This place also sells wholesale merchandise to retailers, who in turn sell retail. 6 hours is insufficient to cover everything.
