I highly recommend this spot to see the Great Wall. Not only is the Great Wall a site to behold - similar to the Coliseum in Rome, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Acropolis in Greece, etc. - this was a great spot to see...More

We visited this section of the Wall on a beautiful winter day. I was traveling with senior citizens, so the gondola taking everyone up the mountain was very helpful.

We went there early in the morning to avoid the crowd and we walk across the wall moving west for about 2 kilometeres. The Wall itsself is a miracle and the surrounding forest is so beautifull.

We did this part of the wall and loved it. It’s about 1.5 hr from Beijing. We used a private cab to get there. You can either take the cable car up to the wall or walk about 1800 steps to reach there. We did...More

Rather than taking one of the expensive tours, we arranged for a taxi (fixed rate for the day) to take us to the Wall. The hotel had told us that this was a much-less-known part of the Wall. It may not be as well-known, but...More

This was a dream come true for us. We went there with Odyssey Tours and Kirk our guide. We took the cable car up that was a bit of a worry. The views and history is just amazing, we just couldn't believe that we were...More
