Not impressed with this area. Couldn't buy anything. The merchant overpriced everything expecting for people to bargain. But their prices is so high that even if you request a 80% mark down, you are still over paying. Lots and Lots of Knock offs also.

The best tailor in town is Lisa Tailor. They specialize in men's suits but they also do women's clothing and coats. They are not located in the Silk Market but in another shopping area in Beijing.
