Happy World is great. 10/10! My favourite part was the Valentine's Day scene. Would definitely come again. Best ride ever!!!

It looks like a nice park, but the first ride we got on took 3 and half hours to get through the line. We had no clue that the line was as long as it was, because it had many walls and loops to know the actual number of people. Waiting three+ hours in line makes you exhausted, I didn’t feel like doing anything else. Perhaps it was just this ride, and the rest of the park was less crowded.

I do understand in Beijing lives 10-30 million people :-) but half of them were in this park during our last visit. We have spent more less one hour cueing for every attraction. Many rides were closed. Visit this park during weekdays! But if you are a teenager and you have some money in your pocket it’s a nice place for your date.

Was a little more than disappointed after paying full price and being presented with a sign at the entry saying that due to heat, cold, wind and snow not all rides were operating. As it turns out, more than half of the park wasn’t operating because it’s half demolished and being renovated. The bits that had been renovated were great though. Couldn’t find any staff who spoke English and they don’t accept Visa or MasterCard so make sure you have cash - 260RMB per adult for all access pass. Would definitely recommend once the renovations are finished.

I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about... signs and rides and map are in English and Chinese, easy to find your way around since the park isn’t that big. Went on a Monday, bought the 260RMB day pass. We saw cheaper tickets on DianPing (Chinese yelp) but you had to buy them a day in advance online only.
Aside from waiting for the super fast roller coaster (right at entrance) for about 2 hrs, everything else was fine. In fact, the superman style Atlantis roller coaster had barely any line! Other rides were about 30 min wait on average, though some waiting areas were very hot (no fans). I like how vendors sell fruit ice cups next to the line so you can hydrate and snack while waiting. Overall, the park felt empty. We went on mostly adult rides so can’t speak to kids section. Agree with other reviews that it’s definitely not to a Disney or more famous theme park standard, but rides were safe, no cutting lines, and fun!

I was overall impressed by the theme park having never been to it before i was pleasantly surprised at how big it was.
The rides were thrilling and exciting but lining up was a real pain as some of the popular rides had massive lines.
I went with small child <6 years and he enjoyed the kids section. I recommend paying extra for the travel carts in the park as the theme park was just too big to walk around with a child. The travel carts can be used throughout the whole day once you pay for it and they give you a wrist band so every time you see a travel cart hop on and the driver will take you where you need to go.
By the time i went home in the afternoon the crowds were building up and the lines to the popular rides were so long it wasnt worth waiting in the heat to go on them.
Highly recommend you go early as soon as the theme park opens.

I visited Happy Valley on a Sunday in June expecting it to be busy. But was surprised to find it quiet. Most of the time I could walk straight on rides and the worst queue I had was 30 minutes.
The rides are great especially the coasters which are top class. In addition it didn’t seem overpriced like so many other theme parks.
All rides were open when I went so I guess the ride closure problem is a winter thing. If you like thrill rides it’s well worth a visit.

I came on Sunday it was not that crowded, but still wait for like an hour for a ride also have like 3-5 extreme machine such as rollercoaster the ticket are quite expensive 260 rmb. Not much foreigners mostly Chinese here, make sure you can speak at least little Chinese as staff can't communicate in English. Overall was fine.

I have been to Disney World, Universal Studio and Canada's Wonderland in Toronto, Ontario and know what good is and this is not good if you are used to better.
Park is in a condition of disrepair because I am sure that because of their great location and and 26 million people market that they have no problem filling up the park with full paying customers during the summer.
We were here on a Monday in March with no lines and it was still a waste of money. Would have been worse on a busy day.
My advice is to stay away a day spend you time and money on something else. Hope this helps! : )

We were a group of friends who went there in the morning to have fun. There was not a single guide in English and none of the staff at the entrance and ticketing could speak even a word. We had to buy the ticket which was not cheap at all to enter and then we realized that all we wanted to try there was close because of winter. Even those which were open did not started till 12. In the website it was written that the park opens at 9:30, what do we want to do from 9:30 to 12 if there is no ride??!!??
In the park not even a single person could speak English and tell us where to go, what to do and….
don't waste your time and money here.... very disappointing.
