If you time your visit right in the afternoon, the sun streams through the doors and illuminates the interior and you really can appreciate the relics that have been preserved and you can also see the artwork throughout the interior.

As we entered the Temple of Heaven complex, this building is big and imposing, right in the centre and surrounded by a big courtyard. Many people here and many photo opportunities. Had a peek inside the building but had to jostle for space. The external facade looks nicer than the interior of the building.

You will certainly enjoy the Temple of Heaven and all the beautiful park surrounding. Plan to spend 2-3 hours here

Be sure to visit the parks where everyday exercises and gatherings occur. The actual Hall of Prayer was very beautiful.

This is a beautiful temple, it is worth visiting. Easy to reach by subway, plan half a day to visit.

Part of the Tempe of Heaven Park is the Hall or Prayer. Missing any segment of this park would reduce the enjoyment and history. I loved the whole park including this building. Lots to see and learn.

The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest is part of the Temple of Heaven. The architecture is amazing and the history associated with the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest is a must to learn to appreciate this part of the Temple of Heaven complex. Learn about the Temple of Heaven and you will appreciate this site even more.

I've lived in Beijing for seven years and visit the park three or four times a year, I will always pay a visit to this magnificent building in the middle of the park.

As part of the Temple of Heaven complex, this is a beautiful and sacred site. It history is long and illustrious and is close;y tied to the Emperors of China and their divine service to their subjects. A definite must visit site.

This is the iconic building of the Temple of Heaven complex. The building is grand & impressive. Amazed that there is no beam inside the hall, indeed a masterpiece of wood frame construction. Expect this place to be crowded. Suggest you spend some time taking photos and resting here to admire its beauty.
