Nice place for waterskiing

Its actually a very nice place to spend some hours and go water skiing or wakeboarding...the facilitty seems state of the art, the water is clean and the prices are fair.

Shunyi Water Olympic Park is past its prime. It still serves a purpose though of a fun day in the water but you really don’t want to be in the water because it’s pretty filthy. In fact, there is a sign that says no swimming but you will inevitably wind up in the water because the canoes aren’t very stable... More

The setting inside the old olympic park is intriguing. On the upside you will find a full size modern rixen cable. On the downside there are only very sticky rixen obstacles. Its a bit hard to find. Took me some time to get there. I would highly recommend to take a cab and let it wait for you. There are... More

Two adults two kids almost US$200. About half the slides/ features were not operating. The water was barely warm and air temp just as cool: we were cold and had to leave after 2 hours. Everything looks a but tired and worn out. We weren't allowed to swim in the Olympic pool and the warm up pool was being renovated.... More

The Olympic Park is lit up at night and once you go through the usual security procedures that happens almost everywhere in China you can walk until you heart's content. There are street vendors, a skate boarding area, older ladies exercising to music, a man leading skipping to music which all ages were obviously used to joining in - not... More
