Great introduction

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Show went for an hour so a good introduction to Peking Opera. English translation on the sides which was helpful. Highly recommended.

Fantastic performance of Beijing Opera Qinyuchuan

We watched the performance of the Beijing Opera Qinyuchuan in the Chang'an Grand Theatre. The Beijing Opera Channel, the Beijing Opera Channel, was shown on television and won the Shanghai Magnolia Award last year. The lead actor has a beautiful voice and all the performers are fantastic.

A secret place not visited by tourists

In spite of the very central location, tour users dint visit this place. This is a very good reason to go. Excellent opera and acrobatics after the visit we could meet the performers.
Would go back again. .

We saw a performance of Jingju (Chinese opera) here and it was very interesting. The audience was Chinese rather than foreign tourists, so it felt very authentic. That night we heard a modern Chinese opera with the traditional music and style of acting but a modern theme and stage. Well worth it.

A must !

This was a true Chinese cultural experience. Fortunately there were English subtitles, although the story seemed less important than the spectacle!The costumes, make-up and performimg skills of the actors were remarkable. We were really glad to have found this theatre and experienced a true Chinese evening of entertainment
