This is tea-tasting at its best. I dropped in for my second visit this year, to try more varieties of LaoShe’s relaxing tea. This is much more than a place to drink tea. It is loaded with memorabilia, including visits by many world leaders, including...More

They said it was 50 rmb for a one hour of having tea in a private tearoom. After saying that we’d take it, they said that all the 50 rmb rooms were taken and that the least expensive room available was 80 rmb. Okay, we...More

This is the most expensive cultural show I booked on my China tour. It's easy to find (and a great vegan restaurant nearby). There's an extensive tea shop to negotiate before going into the 'theatre'. They bring tea, some sunflower seeds and 3 little sweet...More

I agree 180yuan is a lot per person. However, this was a variety program where English subtitles were available, which was very necessary for my family, although I can understand Chinese myself. We got there early so we ate dinner downstairs. I wouldn't recommend dinner...More

Nice example of local Beijing folk opera. I have been there several times and I always liked it ... It is a famous stop for local tourists and foreign. You won't like it if you don't understand or respect Chinese culture.
