This area is great say or night. The Water Cube is better at night only. As it's average looking in the day but it has a light show at night. Pretty cool building

The best way to get there is by subway. Get off at the Olympic Sports Center Station of Route No.8. Then follow the directions in the station, you will encounter a security checkpoint before you find the Water Cube. It is free admission. If you...More

I was part of a tour group and we got to see outside the place as it wasn't on the list of things we are meant to go to. It was interesting to see it in the daytime but I would have like to have...More

We paid and then was told it was closing in 30 mins! It takes 15 minutes to walk to the cube from the pay point at the start of the park. You get in and it's a bit of a sweat box really. Lifts are...More

The Water Cube is spectacular at night as the lighting constantly changes giving the impression of coloured water washing over the sides of this building

We get there by daylight and were not recommended to go inside, since there is nothing to see there other than an Olympic pool. The real show comes at night fall, when the outside building changes its colors and make an spectacular view for photos.

Wanted to have a swim in a Olympic pool but didn't know the ticket sales ends by 1750 hr. Was there at 1805 hr thinking it doesn't close until 2000 hr. Hope others won't be disappointed like me.
