I love this park! We rented a pedal boat for 60 minites. But there were less pedal boats than electric boats. When we got to the pier, we had to wait. All of them were taken. But luckily, we got on one after 20minutes.

The lake scenery was spectacular, like gentle breeze, glittering water, greenary, and fairground rides.

My dad was pedalling the boat while enjoying a can of drink. My mom was busy taking photos. And I was seeing the beautiful view.

What an awesome experience.

We live opposite this park and spend a lot of time here. In the summer it has a water park and in winter a snow park! It’s lovely and big with walking and running paths and even fairground rides. You can hire family bikes or boats even in Summer. We’ve recently enjoyed walking round in the snow, but it’s a great year round park!

We got re-energized by exercising and having a jog in the park on this cool-weather, 12C, sunny October day.

For just 5RMB per person you can escape the traffic and noise of Beijing and descend into an oasis of greenery and water-based recreation.
Unlike many parks in China, Sun Park appears to cater more for families and groups of friends. As well as many people walking leisurely down the many paths, there are also a variety of wheeled transport – you can take a family quadracycle or one of the many battery powered vehicles.
Don’t worry if you get thirsty on route, as there is an autonomous driving mobile vending machine.
Other popular activities include picnic day camping and boating.
If you are a thrill seeker, perhaps you could try the theme park - Chaoyang International Spring Carnival (extra charges apply)

A large park with something for everyone! I like to run on the 5k path there - it’s lovely and scenic and nice and quiet first thing in a morning.

This park is huge & well worth a visit. There are lakes to cruise around on, many sports fields, lovely green spaces, walking paths & an amusement park area that looks quite tired. We hired a small buggy to get around in which was very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the next day, we discovered that we’d been handed COUNTERFEIT 100 RMB notes when we received our deposit back for the hire of the buggy, so please beware when renting the buggies in this park.

I have been there several Tims including going to the swimming area on the hottest daybook the summer. The park is beautiful and the swimming area is expensive but worth the cost. I has water slides and other attractions for kids as well a simple food. The park has boats and also an amusement area.

An urban treat, found adjacent to the CBD, Chaoyang Park offers a myriad of leisure activities.

I found a meandering running track that traversed the park, past were others were practicing Tai Chi, playing badminton, fishing, walking, or playing traditional flutes.

Good place to relax or work out jog along the lake or rent a peddle boat during summer. It's not over crowed at all. This park also hosted the beach volleyball venue for the Beijing Olympics.

Nice place to relax after a big lunch at Solana Mall which faces the lake of the park on one end. The lake is pleasant to walk around especially in spring and fall when the trees look beautiful
