Besides being in an iconic place in Beijing because of the Olympics, it is a great place to spend a lazy afternoon and create memories for your kids. The place is expansive and your kids will want to run around in the expanse. This is perfect to tire them out so they won’t fight you when it’s time to sleep, lol! There is a lake where you can rent a boat and navigate the area. There is an amusement park. There are ways to get around the park by rented bikes, buggies and trams. The park also features special events such as concerts. Bring snacks because the restaurants there are relatively pricey and not outstanding.

It was a great experience to walk around Olympic Forest Park. The Bird's Nest and Olympic torch were great to observe first hand. The engraved wall with all the Special Olympian's names was a special sight to see and experience. This is a relaxing way to spend some time in Beijing.

Traveling to scenic spots usually are done quickly as we try to cram our schedules with all the spots to see. When you visit this park, you would want to just relax and sit for a while under a tree while watching butterflies fly about. Visit in the late afternoon for a cooler temperature.

We went on a night time tour to see this and it was so worth seeing part of Olympic history. Seeing it during the daytime doesn’t do it justice. We didn’t go inside just walked around outside and took photos. It’s free to walk around and you can see the water cube and the birds nest.

I have always watched the Olympic games for over 50 years. Seeing this Olympic Park and reading the names of the athletes on the wall is always inspiring. The Bird's Next pavilion is a unique design. The spacious layout of the park is great to now meet with other people. The sculptors were really cool as well.

Hope you are lucky as i was to stay in a hotel that is right inside the Olympic Park. The Olympic park is a really big open park north of the Beijing City Center with easy access to the subway. There are a lot of things to see inside the Olympic park like the Birds Nest and the Water Cube but just strolling down the center of the park is also a fine activity.

This is a nice park but not a must go to park. There are plenty of other parks such as the Summer Palace that are more impressive. Nevertheless, if you are going to see the overall Olympic Village, swing on by since it’s in close proximity.

The parking is very large if you want a nice walk. The scenic element is average for a park. Nice visit, but not an essential thing to do if you are short of time whilst in Beijing

I had the chance to visit 'The Water cube" swimming center and "The Birds Nest" Olympic Stadium which were specially built for the 2012 Beijing Olympics and walk in the park where one of the World's greatest events was held, well worth a visit, this was part of day tour with Tour Beijing (Tour China Team ). This is disabled accessible, no steps here, nice flat ground.
