Traffic in Beijing is legendary and the most interesting roads are so narrow they are impossible for cars to navigate. So get around like the locals do: by bicycle! You will ride through the hutongs and move quickly between sites (Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven,...More

If you have a few hours free get on the bikes for a very interesting tour of the Houtungs and a brief visit to Forbidden City. Decent bikes and very good tour guides. Run by great people who genuinely seem to care.

Best way to travel around Beijing and explore where everything is with history included! Loved the bike cafe too! The tour guide was really helpful and had interesting things to say about Chinese culture. Was much better than walking around in the heat.

Harry was an excellent guide. I did the tour with my 15 yo daughter.in the morning. The tour is a mixture of alleyways and some road. All low speed and cycling thru Tianemen and round the forbidden city is just amazing. Well worth a half a...More

We were four young travelers and enjoyed great, flexible service. The bike shop is quaint and comfortable with WiFi, and we just rented bikes for the day rather than getting a tour. One very important note is that although there are biking lanes, there are...More

From what I can tell from the map the bike location is not too far away. Get a taxi, it is not expensive. This bike tour is well worth the effort. Enjoy.

We did this with a large group of about 28 people, of our own group. I don't know how bike beijing is working with people wanting to join a group. I suppose it is possible though. I have seen couples joining.
