We did all traditional tours one must do in Beijing but this one was a great surprise. I thought would be just riding at night around the city but not only the places are awesome, not tourist oriented (not crowded) but very light fun and...More

This was almost the highlight of an incredible week. We highly recommend this tour and YoYo was brilliant!!! And went way above the call of duty by staying behind afterwards to organize a taxi back to our hotel which was unusually difficult that night.

I had a fabulous time cycling around seeing the highlights of this tour. It is a different experience cycling versus walking, and I enjoyed it better riding my bike. I would recommend you do this tour when your first arrive in Beijing, I left it...More

We just went on a day tour out of Beijing with Bike Beijing to the Huanghuacheng section of the Great Wall. For some reason I don't see it listed on Trip Advisor/Viator. However, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this one of a kind day tour to visit...More

We organised a private tour for ourselves, and were picked up at our hotel. We drove out of Beijing towards the Great Wall in a private mini bus, where we rode mountain bikes for an hour (an easy downhill/flat ride) or so before having a...More

Kids were able to join in and be active with the 'tag along' bike system. The guide took us through back streets and alleyways that he incorporated into the tour. He was knowledgeable and provided a great history of Beijing that accommodated interest for all.

Our guide was awesome! Her 'English name' is pronounced 'U U' as in you you. She's a student and was a lot of fun and spoke excellent English. She gave us a nice mixture of history and culture information. Great 'ambassador' for her country. Thank...More

From what I can tell from the map the bike location is not too far away. Get a taxi, it is not expensive. This bike tour is well worth the effort. Enjoy.

Hi AB! We are interested in doing the same bike and hike great wall tour you did in Beijing. Did you do it with a small group or on your own? My husband and I really wanted to join a small group rather than just have to two of us ... more fun and interactive with a few people and nice to meet other travellers but the company said on the day we are going, it would be just us ... can you let me know if you went alone or with a partner and if that was still OK ... so many options on-line ... I really want to make the right choice. It sounds wonderful!

We did this with a large group of about 28 people, of our own group. I don't know how bike beijing is working with people wanting to join a group. I suppose it is possible though. I have seen couples joining.

I'm thinking of taking my 11 year old. May I ask which Bike Beijing tour you did with your kids? I'm wondering if some of them might be safer (relative to traffic) than others? Thanks so much!

I also did not have children with me, but would not see any issue with the 4hour Hutong and forbidden city tour, provided that your 11 year old is used to cycle in a normal city and the group is small. Most of the way are... More
