Ever wondered where all the wooden carvings seen in the shops and beach come from? Well most of them come from here. Its interesting to see the people at work designing and carving out these models.

If you travel through Nairobi, stop instead at the Masai Mara market where things a fraction of the price here. If you can't, don't worry they accept MasterCard here.

Excellent wood carvings - see their web site for pictures. You can also visit the carvers village and meet the men producing these wooden beauties. Located 4 km from city center direction the airport, take Matatu from GPO (general post office), 30 ksh.
