You see all the people sitting and carving the animals, starting with a lump of wood until the final article. The craftmanship is amazing and the prices more than fair. Be aware that there is an open ditch(sewer) running through the area and the smells...More

You will understand why you need to give your best to the world! Very good project, sustainable way of employing persons with diability......they will not ask you for donations. They export commercial craft and earn descent living. what a place

3pm sq of open sided lean to's where very skilled craftsmen make incredible carvings, this is one of the few things to see in Mombasa and is well worth a visit

Yes, the best time to see the workshops would be Saturday morning between 9 and 12. The showroom itself is open from 9-5 on Saturdays.
