I have visited this place many times the first to see the show and houses but other times to visit their lovely shop with many good things to buy for girts which go to a good cause but this time I was disappointed as they had their gift shop burnt down so there was little stock to buy so may... Great center to visit especially because most of the people are disabled. Look how they make jewelery. Visit the great performances of the teams, look at the different houses who you can see at this center. Buy some gifts to support the center they are cheap and nice

We got robbed in the Bombollulo area while waiting in the traffic jam. A terrible experience and nobody and bystanders want to help especially if you are a muzungu. Every one in the vicinity saw what happened when they snatched the wife's hand bag from inside the vehicle and ran. Passports money travelers cheques jewelry which had been taken off... More

Bombolulu Workshop is your one-stop local handicraft and cultural centre at Mombasa. The community contributing greatly to this project is the Handicapped of Kenya society that do an amazing job of craft, cuisine and cultural dances that leave you asking for more. Disability is not inability !

Few workers on site and almost no crafts. Apparently a large craft shop burnt to the ground and so there was very little to see. I appreciate how they are helping people.

We have been to Mombasa twice and visited here on both occasions. On our first visit I was shocked how bad the working conditions were considering how good the carvings are that they turn out. We returned the second time a little bit more knowledgeable and chatted to some of the craftsmen as they were working. The workers have their... More
