The scenery is awesome, walking,swimming in the salty waters and playing around with sand is the thing! Afterwards relaxing at the shore watching the oceans Waves while taking 'madafu' is an awesome experience.

Almost impossible walking along the beach without facing hundred of locals who beg for money in a insistent and annoying way. Quite dangerous in the evening,especially where is dark and far from facilities. Avoid it if u can. Stay inside the hotel perimeter.

I visit Mombasa regularly. This is one of my favorite places. Golden sands sprinkled with market stalls, varies trips and lovely restaurants and bars. What more could you want?
